Biography
Drew Shannon is an illustrator and educator based in Toronto Canada. Drew’s career spans over a decade of professional work, with experience in editorial, publishing, advertising, and non-pro fi t, and now teaching. A life-long lover of movies, for the last few years Drew has been making posters for independent Toronto cinema, The Revue. Drew’s work combines bright, textured, graphic shapes, stylized people/environments inspired by both vintage and contemporary art to create pieces that feel nostalgic but new. Drew loves reading, TTRPGS, video games, and, of course, fi lm. Current obsessions include 90s Star Trek and making bad prop replicas
