WAY back in 1922, actor Max Schreck turned in a mesmerizing performance as the infamous vampire, Count Orlok. Critics and fans still hold this one on their favorite horror films of all time list and if you have NOT seen it, take the time to watch. Being such a HUGE fan of the horror genre, this project was right in Chris’ wheelhouse. Here is what he had to say about the project.
“Nosferatu” is a timeless classic, a captivating story wrapped in unsettling, yet beautiful imagery. It’s nearly impossible NOT to be inspired visually and creatively by this film, and for me, it was all about the typography. I found something very unique and interesting about the shapes that the letters made, so I rolled with it and the end result is something I’m very proud of, both conceptually and technically. I’d also like to say that its an honor to join an endlessly talented fellow artist and friend, Godmachine in carrying the Nosferatu torch for the mighty Grey Matter Art. I’m damn proud to be in such mighty fine company, and I hope you enjoy these prints!” – Chris Garofalo
