John Hughes is an illustrator and Designer based in Brooklyn, N.Y. who specializes in visual development and production art for motion graphics. Today we are thrilled to announce that we are putting one of his original concepts up for sale. John was Inspired by Naughty Dog’s intense, action-adventure, survival-horror video game, “The Last Of Us.” It’s quite possibly his favorite video game ever released and you can absolutely sense a much larger, desolate world when you look at the print.
Here is what John had to say about the print. “I was inspired by the intricately-detailed post-apocalyptic aesthetics of the game and I wanted to take a shot at making a piece with a similar theme. I was studying at RISD at the time and was also inspired by the unique beauty of New England and wanted to add my own touch to the American post-apocalypse theme with the focus on the stranded ship.”
