For as long as we can remember, we have been enamored with the vastness and mysteries of space. Our first chance encounter came when we walked into a movie theater and watched “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” That evening, when we looked up at the stars and a plethora of NEW questions began to seep into our consciousness and have remained there for over 40 years. During these times, as we are all confined to our homes, it’s easy to get lost in the confinement. This is why we have chosen “Space” as the theme for our latest passion project. The theme is “space” and the parameters are as broad as the subject matter. ANYTHING associated with space was allowed. Books, movies, comic books, etc…. as long as space was involved, it was good to go. Here is Phase 1 of our tribute to the incredible vastness, mystery and wonder of space.

There is a wide, yawning black infinity. In every direction, the extension is endless; the sensation of depth is overwhelming. And the darkness is immortal. Where light exists, it is pure, blazing, fierce; but light exists almost nowhere, and the blackness itself is also pure and blazing and fierce. – Carl Sagan
