The Star Wars exhibition | An Art Odyssey offers a bold and innovative stage design that is the epicenter of a rich event programming in the heart of Marseilles city.
It has been a long time in the making, but in a country, far, far, away, the Poster Posse and Le Cafe Pixel have launched an art exhibit of galactic proportions. Titled “Star Wars: An Art Odyssey” the exhibit features all new art based on the Stay Wars mythos. It is our first officially licensed solo show and we are beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to bring something of this magnitude to the masses.
In collaboration with Acme Archives, Le Cafe’ Pixel partnered with the city of Marseille, France who is hosting event at L’ Espace Villeneue-Bargemon until January 17th, 2016. The space lends itself perfectly as a gallery setting and was set up in such a way as to have a “sci-fi” feel to it to accompany the art that filled it.
Aside from the highly desirable art from the Poster Posse, a bookspace will be on display with Maupetit bookstore where you will find a thematic selection of books, comics, DVDs, about the Star Wars universe.
Publishers Delcourt and Akiléos will be present in the book space and meetings with authors and book signings will be scheduled regularly for the duration of the exhibition.
Electronic Arts provided a custom, personalized EA BATTLEFRONT video game space giving fans a chance to try their latest entry in the Star Wars video game Universe, “Star Wars Battlefront.“
